How to make sure my Facebook Pixel is Active and Firing

Are you concerned that your Facebook Pixel isn't firing properly? Let us show you how you can verify that it is working!

In this article, we are going to teach you how to test your Facebook Pixel by using the Test Events tool within your Facebook Events Manager. 

Step 1 

Navigate to your Facebook Events Manager by using the following link - https://business.facebook.com/events_manager

Step 2 

Navigate to the "Test Events" column.

Once there go to the "Test Browser Events" box in the middle of the page.

Then place your landing page link within the search box and click the "Open Browser" button. 

Step 3

Once you clicked the "Open Browser" button, your landing page link will automatically launch in another tab. Once your landing page has fully loaded within that newly launched tab, navigate back to your previous tab within your Facebook ads manager.

You will notice, assuming everything has fired properly, that your page looks different now. You should be able to see activity under "Events Received". What you will specifically want to see is an event titled, "PageView". If you are seeing that, then your Facebook Pixel is fully operational.
