How Do I Update My Availability In Acuity?

Availability is adjusted directly within Acuity. Check out this article to learn how!

*IMPORTANT NOTE* Do NOT edit your Calendar or Appointment Type Name. If you update those, you will break your ALAN account.

Changing availability (for example, if you are closed for a holiday) is done directly within the  Acuity calendar. 

Step 1

Navigate to your Calendar Availability by going to "Availability" from the left hand menu in your Acuity account.

Choose the Calendar that you are working with and click on the button labeled, "Edit Availability / Limits".

Now you can edit your availability. Once you have finished editing your availability be sure to click save.

Availability has two sections: 

  1. Regular Weekly Hours
    1. Regular Weekly Hours are your default hours for each day of the week. If it is a Monday, and nothing is telling Acuity to do otherwise, it will use the hours entered in the Monday box of the Regular Weekly Hours section.
  2. Override Hours for Specific Days
    1. Override Hours for Specific Days is the section that overrides the Regular Weekly Hours. If you have hours entered for a specific Monday in the Override Hours for Specific Days section, those will override your regular Monday hours for that specific Monday.
