Wondering what those red triangles in your ALAN messages mean?
In short, this means that there is an error not allowing ALAN to text the clients properly.
To find out what the specific issue is, all you need to do is take your mouse and hover over the triangle. This will tell you why the message won't send, typically providing an error code.
The error codes can be looked up in Twilio.
Below are the most common errors that we see and what they mean:
Error 30005 "Message Delivery - Unknown destination handset" - The number that ALAN is trying to text is no longer in service.
Error 30003 "Message Delivery - Unreachable destination handset" - The number that ALAN is trying to text isn't currently receiving messages. The device could be powered down, out of their service area, or texting services are turned off.
Error 30004 "Message Delivery - Message blocked" - This would happen if the prospective lead sent "Stop" to ALAN to stop the messages from going out.
Error 30006 "Message Delivery - Landline or unreachable carrier" - This error will occur when prospective leads provide a landline instead of their cellphone number that can take text messages.
