How Can I Make ALAN Stop Messaging a Specific Lead?

If you need to discontinue automated messaging for a specific lead, follow these steps:

To have ALAN stop messaging a specific lead, all you'll need to do is opt the lead out of the messaging sequence. Please note that the system will only allow you to stop the messaging sequence for leads that are not currently scheduled for an appointment.

  1. In your dashboard, click on "Leads".
  2. Find the lead's name, and on the right, click on the eye icon.
  3. This will take you to that lead's conversation within ALAN. Click on "Opt-Out" on the top right of the conversation.

Please note that this will make it so the leads can still respond and be responded to, but they will no longer receive automated messages.
